Our story

Hotpot Oslo serves authentic Chinese hotpot from Szechuan, prepared with the freshest ingredients in a warm and welcoming room. Our love for hotpot comes from the rich culinary traditions of Szechuan, where hotpot is not just a meal but a social and cultural occasion.

The name comes from the “gudong” sound food makes as it goes into boiling water. The dish is eaten as it cooks — the pot steams in the middle of the table while you boil, dip and share.
